It never ceases to amaze me what God does for me every single day of my life. Even by the hour He is guiding me and revealing to me His grace and wisdom. Jesus is the great hope of my life, and He is beautiful.
I get so sick of my own sin and exhausted by the constant battle. It is THE great battle and it is a daily fight. But thank you, Jesus, because you’ve already won.
This life is a work in progress that won’t be complete until the race is over. Sometimes I can even feel the tension in my heart, like I’m being tugged at from all sides. But there’s this part of me that is pure, full of love and alive. There is a way, He says. I’ve already shown you the way.
What a relief it is that I don’t have to dwell in my despair, I don’t have to remain in the messes that I create. And when I fall, He’s there with open arms to set me upright again. When I get my clothes filthy, He will clean me up. Everything moves forward and lives to be in that moment with Him. Through Christ, I am perfect in the eyes of God. He made a way for me.
I will rise out of these ashes, rise. From this trouble I have found and this rubble on the ground, I will rise. ‘Cause He who is in me is greater than I will ever be, and I will rise.
Look how beautiful we are when we are alive in Him! He has made beautiful things out of dust and He makes beautiful things out of us.
Out of chaos, life is being found.
You make me new, You are making me new.
